Hackfleisch [Hacked Meat] was shot on 16mm, entirely from short ends from the TV Series "Fire".  As a big Hitchock fan, I wanted to pay homage to his film Psycho. The story is about Norman preparing dinner for his mother. Her favourite meat is mince. I wrote, produced and directed this film and sold it to Canal+ France & Benelux Countries. They picked it up at the film markets in Toronto for inclusion in special programming in honour of Hitchcock’s 100^th birthday. It was also screened at Brisbane Schlock Film Festival in 1997 and several other  video festivals in Australia and Germany.
