HACKFLEISCH

Hackfleisch [Hacked Meat] was shot on 16mm, entirely from short ends from the TV Series "Fire".  As a big Hitchock fan, I wanted to pay homage to his film Psycho. The story is about Norman preparing dinner for his mother. Her favourite meat is mince. I wrote, produced and directed this film and sold it to Canal+ France & Benelux Countries. They picked it up at the film markets in Toronto for inclusion in special programming in honour of Hitchcock’s 100th birthday. It was also screened at Brisbane Schlock Film Festival in 1997 and several other  video festivals in Australia and Germany.
